Northwest HIDTA prioritizes substance use prevention in Washington by supporting programs in risk factor reduction, education and skill-building, and other evidence-based, multi-sector approaches. Additionally, we support substance use disorder treatment and linkage to care that empowers people and reduces stigma.

Northwest HIDTA partners with programs ranging from local coalitions to statewide and national prevention and treatment organizations to promote science-backed practices, educate communities and families, and connect sectors to amplify impact.

Northwest HIDTA administers a competitive request for proposal (RFP) process biennially to support prevention and treatment organizations in eligible counties.*

The Northwest HIDTA 2025 prevention RFP is currently open.  Organizations can apply to receive two years of funding beginning in July 2025.  Applications must be submitted by March 2, 2025.  Enter your contact information here to request RFP materials.
